POMPADOUR DC
Washington DC | New York

Founded in Washington, DC in 2015 by Camille Clifton, Pompadour DC was built on the belief that exceptional design is the cornerstone of meaningful hospitality.

What began with the acquisition and transformation of a single property near Tysons Corner quickly evolved into a curated portfolio of 15 luxury residences across the Washington metropolitan area. Camille’s discerning eye for detail and commitment to authenticity attracted not only discerning guests but also interior design clients across the East Coast.

As her reputation grew, so did the scale of her work, guiding high-profile residential and commercial design projects, each marked by an emphasis on intentional design.

In 2022, Camille’s leadership was sought to consult on the relaunch of a hospitality group in Washington, DC. That same year, her commitment to social impact led her to Rhode Island Legal Services, where she was appointed Director of Development and Communication. In just two months, she helped secure over $10 million in funding and doubled the organization’s operating budget, a testament to her ability to blend strategic vision with purpose-driven action.

Alongside her creative ventures, Camille’s dedication to social justice and philanthropy remains at the core of her mission, bringing both beauty and meaning to every space and partnership.

Today, Pompadour DC continues to design and collaborate with esteemed designers, architects, and brands to craft elegant interiors and refined guest experiences.

“But the most striking picture shows an embellishment that was probably inadvertent: yellow paint splashed on Paris pavement.”
